CASE OF UTERINE FIBROID
Mrs. A.S., aged 39 years came to the clinic with complaints of heavy periods. She also complained of bloating of stomach and pain in the stomach.
Sonography done in December 2012, the reports showed 'Early fatty infiltrative liver changes. Bulky uterus with small intramural fibroid. Gall bladder calculi seen.'
A detailed case history was taken. On the basis of the history, medications were prescribed. Within few months of treatment her periods were regular and flow was normal. The stomach bloating and pain also had been cured. Sonography was again repeated in August 2013 and the report showed 'Normal sonographic findings. NO evidence of any abnormal mass lesion or calculus noted'.
